I was born in Chkalovsk, USSR in 1978. I received B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science from College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, University of Illinois in Chicago (Chicago, Illinios) and M.S. in Biomedical Science from School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health Systems, Drexel University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). I am currently working on my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I expect to graduate sometime in early 2008.My research interests primarily focus on integration of non-equilibrium open air electric plasma discharges into biology and medicine. Especifically in pre-operative, post-operative, and intra-operative sterilization of living human tissue, blood coagulation, wound healing, and treatment of diseases (both on skin, i.e. Melanoma; under the skin, i.e. Cutaneous Leishmaniasis; and deep in the body, i.e. Deep vein thrombophlebitis).

Currently I am working closely with the faculty, staff, and students of Drexel Plasma Institute (Drexel University), Dept. of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (Drexel University College of Medicine, DUCOM), Surgery Department (DUCOM), Dept. of Microbiology Control (DUCOM), Dept. of Emergency Medicine (DUCOM), and Laboratory of Parasitology, School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathobiology (University of Pennsylvania).

This site served primarily as a hub, linking my research and personal lives together.
